BackstoryAmya was born in the depths of the forest. She was born away from all the drama that took place between the Clans, even far from the Dusk Syndicate. It was just her and her small family. Amya had one older brother, more like half brother, but still. She never knew his name, as he died of greencough shortly after she was born. Only faint memories remain now. Amya had a father and a mother, but she never knew her father either. He was a traveling rogue and had only a few nights with her mother.
As a result though, Amya had been born, along side her brother, who her mother had dubbed Cole. He was stillborn though, so it was like Amya had grown up as an only sibling. Therefore, Amya became independent and began doing things in her own time and in her won way. She was stuck up and sassy, but all in good measure. Then one night as they slept in their den beneath a holly bush, they were raided. The mother and daughter were attacked. They had moved nests only days before, but there were angry cats outside their shelter. Amya's mother shoved her under the leaves and bracken of the nest and went out to fight them. Being a bold and stubborn kit, Amya pushed her way out to help her mother. A cat snagged her up and she dangled from the jaws of one of the attackers. The mother, who had begun fighting one of the other cats, screeched in terror. She couldn't loose another child. Amya cried out in panic for her mother, but she couldn't help. Her mother was given a choice, live and let them take the kit, or kill the kit and take her. Either way, it was a loose loose deal. But she couldn't let her child die. She didn't want to give her own life though, so the attackers made the decision for her. They lunged and killed the mother in a matter of moments. Four to one. Four extremely skilled fighters against one weakened mother. That night Amya became an orphan and was brought to a strange world after witnessing the death of her beloved mother. Amya was kept in a fox hole near the base of the evil attackers. For a moon she stayed like this. That was until they moved camp again, and they crossed the wrong border line. Unknowingly they had crossed into the territory of the Dusk Syndicate, and a patrol passed by just about then. Not caring about Amya, they tossed her aside, to be grappled by the frenzy of fighting. Lucky for the young kit, a she cat was there, a hunter. She was taken away from the evil rogues and bright to the Syndicate. She finished her kithood there, and learned their ways. Amya doesn't remember much about her mother, father, or brothers. She knows though that her life is in the Syndicate and she will now train as a Fighter to seek revenge in the cats who stole her from her mother in the first place. |
